A Public Service Announcement

So we are now in our day 5 in 2009. Let's take a moment to be grateful with the new year hence new life that we have been given upon.

For a moment, let's forget about the argument we had with our spouse, our financial problem, our relationship problem with our friends or acquaintances or the fact that we don't have enough time.

For a moment also, let's flip the news paper or the news channel and see the devestation that our brothers and sisters are facing. They the unfortunate people in the East Banks - the Palestinian. They have been mentally, physically, economically, as well as socially tortured.
The young ones were killed mercilessly, the women got raped like worthless being and the men they were tortured and then killed.
Their water supplied had been cut off by the cruel zionist, they have been made prisoners in their own land.

In this light let's take a moment to be thankful with what we have;
Least that we have our spouse by our side -no matter how pain in the ass that person might be. Least he/she is still alive and not killed or raped or tortured.

Least that we still have money to pay rent and bills - though we can't really splurge on anything but we still have enough to get by. And not being deprived in any sense and way.

Least that we still have our friend we can still socialize and we can still make new friends - when we end a friendship. And we know our friend is still well and alive and we do not have to constantly have to worry about their well being.

Finally, we still have time to live our life. We don't to have to worry about not having enough time to life or being killed by stray bullet or being bombed.

For a moment let's be thankful again to Him for giving us all the things that we need and let's pray to Him that He will protect our brothers and sisters there and shower peace upon the shaky land again.

It's all about peace not really much of a religious matter. it's about human rights.

Let's take a moment to say our prayers to God that He will help the Palestinian in their troubled times.

Amin. I'm quite glad you've taken the time to read the papers today :)

and yes, let's stop being so selfish and forget our arguments and financial problems. because what we're going through is miniscule.

we still have more than enough to go by. we have love, life, friendship and family. and we always have each other.

we just need to be a little more grateful for everything that we have and all the opportunities that we've been given.

Amin.....

hey (Jews and Christians) took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allah), and (they also took as their Lord) Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary), while they (Jews and Christians) were commanded [in the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)) to worship none but One Ilah (God - Allah) La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He) . Praise and glory be to Him, (far above is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him)."
